There are hundreds of beautifully furnished condos and condo-hotels here in Port Aransas. Some are huge resorts with pools, hot tubs, tennis courts and boardwalks that lead to the beach. They are great places to stay for a week with your family or to own for rental income.
These have historically appreciated in value when kept for a few years. Owners need to be aware of the cost of ownership such as HOA dues, management fees, and planned special assessments. Generally, the financing is different from detached homes with higher down payments and restricted financing options. Station Place Condos are cute, new stand-alone condos. All Seasons Condos on Station Street are tiny efficiencies that have been converted from hotel rooms. They are inexpensive and newly renovated.
